Cink won the Brittish Open, beating Tom Watson in a 4-hole playoff.
Cink must read the DBR, he believes in the HPR's 1e

I didn't get to watch much, but another congrats for the original TW to lead the way for as long he did. Hated to see him lose, but was great to see him up there until the very end. Not a bad payday either.

It was Watson's to lose and he did it. Two yards shorter landing on that 2nd at 18 and there would not have been a playoff.
Cink handled his game in very proper fashion. He makes a good champion.

This weekend was a wonderful example of how great golf can be when we don't have a bunch of autoerotic asphyxiation over Tiger Woods obscuring absolutely everything else going on. One of the all-time greats did something that's never been done before, and a great guy got that life-changing first major victory. This is the game I remember before the Tigerbots ruined it.
It's also an example of how intellectually bankrupt the idea of one-guy-vs-the-field is in golf. To exaggerate Tiger Woods' amazing record does it and him a disservice.

What an amazing accomplishment for TW, though I feel a little sorry for him not finishing off the weekend. Congrats to Cink for the comeback win, though.
