I'll admit I find it amazing that professional athletes ever get married. For the woman, it's a real deal with the devil, you get the money but I think the odds are overwhelmingly against you getting a faithful guy. For the guy, how many of the women who are willing to marry you are mostly after you for the lifestyle you can provide? It's a situation I wouldn't want to be in, on either side. This story sounds weird, wonder who really got the cold feet.

Yea, what BD said. I suppose it's possible that she got the cold feet and he jumped on the grenade for her, as it won't really affect him or his future the way it could hers. That would be nice of him, and the gentlemanly thing to do.
