Really happy to hear this. I was about to blow my top when I heard Manuel got hurt and Tuel (Tool?) was ineffective, and the Bills were shopping around to sign a QB that they said might start next game.

So vibes to Thad for much success.

He's doing a terrific job!!!! We're only able to watch the stats but, it looks pretty awesome. Anybody know where we can get the game around here?

Ha! Anyone think maybe, just maybe, the Browns ought to have kept Thad Lewis?

E.J. Manuel is out for 4-6 more weeks per Yahoo so this is a big opportunity for Thad Lewis to shine. The Bills play Miami, New Orleans, Kansas City and Pittsburgh the next four weeks so he will be facing a tough line up.

Cool article I posted on our Facebook page about Thad's "homecoming". Bills' coach Marrone turned to Thad's past coaches for advice before selecting him as the starter last week, including Coach Cut.

General question for the group: how stupid do the St. Louis Rams look for cutting him a couple of years ago? As I recall, Bradford was definitely the starter and Lewis played better in the preseason than the other backup QB. However, instead of cutting the backup that Lewis outplayed (can't remember his name, but he had lots of NFL experience - never as a starter), they cut Lewis. The excuse was that they wanted the experience of the other backup QB.

And how about the Cleveland Browns? My puppies would have been as successful at QB as Hoyer and the other stiffs.
