Would the government shutdown impact Navy's ability to travel to Durham, should it continue?

I would have said, "no," until I read this:

Assuming we have a game next week, I'm probably going to need one ticket. GA is fine....

It's also apparent that come classes may be cancelled as well. Canoe U. will probably experience a variety reductions because of the activity or lack of it in Washington.

Great, Chip. Thanks. I think I told you that Christian Wolf may be coming with us. Virginia lawyers unite!

I agree getting into a fight with a lacrosse player was stupid, but boys will be boys so let's look at the bright side at least he wasn't shooting off guns on campus. Barnes will recover from this incident, hopefully sooner rather than later. Perhaps the cast is precautionary.

Let's hope it's no big deal, but a wide receiver with a cast on his hand is pretty useless.

Nothin' good ever happens after midnight.......especially in a bar.

Well I have to disagree. Looking way back to my youth, a lot of good things happened after midnight and most started in a bar. Then again, I'm a Sailor who "grew up" in Asia, so I'm not sure my experiences reflect main stream life.
My favorite scene in "The Sand Pebbles" happens early on. Jake Holman (Steve McQueen) walks into a bar, talks with the owner for a minute or two, whistles at the lovely young bar girl, and asks "You like me" to which she replies, "Oh yes, I likee all Sailor Man." It's all downhill from there! I imagine traditional college life is much the same.

Back to discussing football...
I watched the Navy, Air Farce game yesterday and while Navy is a good team I believe we will beat them. Air Force couldn't throw the ball, a problem we will not have as long as Connette remembers to throw it to the right color jerseys.
Navy's offense is all QB Keenan Reynolds so we will need to bird dog him all afternoon. That is an assignment which will fall to one of the linebackers or Jeremy Cash. As long as we are reasonable healthy at LB, I'm confident win #4 will occur.

I haven't seen this verified anywhere, but I got a pop up message from ESPN CFB that said Barnes is out indefinitely, and Deondre Singleton has been suspended one game for a rules violation.
Boys will be boys and all that, but we need for these guys to grow up.

Like it or not, that is what happens when you play for a coach that cares about his players' representation of their team.

I don't blame Coach Cut. I am glad he cares about his team and the name (as they say in basketball) on the front of the jersey. Sounds like we need some team leaders to bang a few heads together.
As thin as our secondary is, losing a guy who started last week might hpbe painful. I guess we are lucky to be playing an option team this week.
