4PM KO means that we don't have all day long to smoke something big, so we're going to start our football season off with a classic tailgate. Burgers, hotdogs (henceforth and forevermore known as Costcos), chicken. As always we'll have our standard assault of grilled appetizers as well.
TNT is going to drag the grill by hand up the embankment while I sit in a lounge chair and watch. The teevee and tunes will also be up top.

Please keep in mind that it's gonna be a warm day and the confines of Wallace Wade can make a warm day downright hellish. Sunscreen, hats, water are strongly suggested.

Along with our grub, I'll be bringing a 12 pack sampler of brews. Zing-Zang (& fixin's), some soulless beers for strangers & beggars, iced tea, jug o' water.

Hopefully my dad and stepmom will be joining me for this game.

Bob Green +7. My wife Flora, daughter Janice, grandson Zeke, sister-in-law Marissa, brother-in-law Bob, niece Marie and niece Marjorie. We will throw $$ into the cookie jar and bring lumpia (Philippine egg rolls) with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.

Question for Tim: lumpia has to be fried so we will bring a small deep fryer to accomplish this task. Will your generator support us plugging in for around 30 - 45 minutes?

The new grill has two propane burners on it. I can bring a pot so that we can fry the lumpia if you can bring the oil.

To answer Bob's original question - no. The generator is only 1000W and likely will not support your fryer, certainly not with the TV and sat dish on.

Ozzie - 2. We'll bring a pack of Costco's. Should we get more than one? There are usually 14 big 1/4 pound dogs in each package. We'll also bring (standard size) buns. And I'll get a new convenience pack of ketchup/mustard/relish for this year. I figure the one we bought 2 years ago is ready to be retired.

Will also bring Yuengling.

The party of devildeacs will total 4. We will bring a large fancy tricolor pasta salad (but will [most likely] NOT stuff it down TNT's shorts ), a bomber or two for sharing/tasting and 6-12 brews for trading.

Oh, happy day True Blue Cue Crew. Time for some football. I, the CowboyDevil, will be in attendance Sat. in Wallace Wade Stadium. I will be flying solo, with the possibility of a drop in guest. I will bring burger toppings, and some sliced taters for home made chips. I will also pick up some bacon, and maybe some Zack's Chilli. (TBD)

I need to add two more people to my guest list. My childhood friend (and Duke classmate), Dave, and his wife Rashida will be joining us. I've told them to bring $$, but Rashida is a chef, so she may bring something fun.

In order to avoid a plethora of hot dog buns, Ozzie might want to bring only one pack of regular sized buns, or forego them altogether.

Party of one. Beers to taste, $ for the jar, and a case of bottled water. All depending on health,(kidney stone), but right now I'm good to go. Pun intended. AW.

We are bringing one pack of regular sized buns, for those who only want half a big dog! We'll take them home for our home supply of Costco's if there are any left over!
