Driving to the lake today I was listening to my favorite radio program, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Soooooo glad I tuned in because otherwise I'd have missed a truly funny and very entertaining session with Arkie's sister! She's just a doll! She had really great commentary on what it's like being a female sports reporter -- especially in those dressing rooms! She says to keep her wits about her and to be able to concentrate, she constantly focuses on eyebrows and only eyebrows.
As if that weren't enough, during the call in game segment, the caller was a gal from North Carolina. The host ask if she was a Tarheel. She replied with an emphatic "NO. I'm a life long Duke Fan."
Now I'm an even bigger fan of that show.
Love, Ima

Ima,
I think that might have been Michelle Tafoya on the show today. Niece Michelle doesn't do many locker room interviews. But I still wish I had heard it - especially for the call in from a Duke fan. Obviously, a highly intelligent caller.

DinK - isn't your Michelle NOT a Duke fan? Her biggest flaw.

No one is perfect.
If you are referencing an episode of SportsNation discussed a few years ago OY, I thought she just said what most non-Duke fans say. They don't want to see a program be as successful as Duke. Colin was actuallyt worse regarding Cornell that day - her father's alma mater.

Shoot. You're right, Arkie. I had the wrong Michelle. Guess I jumped the gun. All the time I was listening I was thinking it sounded like her and when they called her Michelle, I jumped to conclusions. I just looked up the program schedule and figured it out.

You mean DinK, not Arkie, right?
