Rumors have started as the post season coaching shuffle will begin soon. Of particular note:

"The Wildcats, riddled with injuries the past two seasons, will likely look at Duke associate head coach Chris Collins, who is from Northbrook, Ill., and according to sources, is interested. Lehigh's Brett Reed is also expected to be a strong candidate."

Well that would be good since J.D. might be needing a job. I'm sure he would be welcome back on our bench.

We have to wait another year. I am sure JD does not mind.

I hope Chris Collins gets the NW job. He needs to move on and be a head coach and I think it would be good for Duke to get some new blood in the assistant coaches ranks. Collins and Wojo have been there for a while.

Rip Van Wojo. I really hope both of them move on soon. They have to have aspirations beyond sitting at K's side.

I certainly hope that Johnny D has success at Stanford, and good that he will be staying on for One more year!!!!

The Best to Chris Collins!!!! He will be a very good Head Coach!

And also, it will give someone else an opportunity to learn from Coach K!!!! That opportunity is priceless for a young and aspiring coach!!!

UCLA is going to fire Ben Howland so that will start the carousel spinning.

They deny it but, I don't believe them. UCLA is a mess and I'm not sure it's all on Howland.
One thing for certain, just 'cause you get the most sought-after recruit, it doesn't give you an automatic pass to the championship. It doesn't even assure you of a really good season or what can be called a good team.

They did win the PAC-12 regular season, right? Still, they haven't advanced to the sweet sixteen in 5 years...ewww. Couple bad performance with bad press, and yer screwed.

Capel is interested in the opening at Old Dominion University:

After all the horrible things I've heard about Norfolk over the years, I've found it to be a nice place since moving here 9 months ago.

I was thinking he had already coached there...my bad. That was VCU and he was successful enough to move on to bigger things. It would be interesting to see him take the helm of a smaller program once again.

Easy to think that. It was his father that coached there for a long time.
