Renfree had surgery today to repair a torn right pectoral muscle. Injury late in game last night -- ugly hit! Tell me there were not other calls those idiots refs overlooked! This and several helmet to helmet! They have these rules so our kids don't get injured! Someone ought to tell the refs! :(

If it was his last play, that was a legal hit. They blitzed and no one touched the DB who hit him. I agree with you on the multiple other helmet to helmet hits that were ignored. Dukediv2011 was there and he thought it poorly called in the stadium and became more furious as the day has gone on today after talking with several other folks who work with the team and realize how putrid that crew was.

We heard that the officiating crew was from the SEC. Different standards? Maybe. A Team? Not likely!

I have pics of him laying on the ground out there...and one of them walking off the field. Two people are in that photo of significance; there is Renfree, and then Conner Vernon, who had walked out to see how his teammate and fellow senior was doing.

Conner and Sean are not only team mates, they've roomed together throughout their time at Duke. ;;)

Yep-those career receiving records sure taste good :D .

I bet CV would trade a few yards and/or catches for a few more W in his career.

Allstate honored their Good Works team at halftime of the Sugar Bowl.

There was a Sean Renfree sighting. He was in a sling. :duke:

Best wishes and fast healing! :duke: :wizard:

I'm surprised, but hope it comes to pass! no pun intended :D

“Another quarterback I like is Sean Renfree out of Duke,” Kiper said during an interview with a Buffalo Bills blog. “I like the fact that he has size, I like his arm. I like that he was with (coach) David Cutcliffe for five years. He tutored Peyton and Eli Manning and is known as a quarterback guru.

“Renfree took Duke to a bowl game for the first time since 1994. … He’s a Matt Hasselback- , Matt Schaub-type to me, so I like Renfree in the fifth-round area.”

Does anyone know when Sean will be able to throw? Will he/is he able to work out for the rookie mini-camp? or OTAs?

I saw a picture of him throwing at mini-camp on Twitter. It didn't look like he was putting a lot of effort into it, so maybe it was mostly a footwork drill.

I believe I heard he could go back full-tilt on May 15.

I sent his mom a congrats letter on behalf of all of us, she sent a nice reply back that she knows where to find us if (and hopefully when) they come back to Duke for a game.
