Lavabe, LegacyLady, and I are with the DDs now. They are holding up as well as can be expected. I've known Daren for around 35 years. He was as good a man as I've ever known. At the last Emery wedding this past July, I took some photos of his family. Below is a photo of Daren dancing with his wife of 16 years, Cheri, and then with his daughters Julia and Noelle. RIP Daren. You are loved and missed.

Thanks to all who have responded here and privately. We are making arrangements to fly to Portland, Oregon tomorrow but tix may be tough to obtain. May not visit the site for a while but will be thinking of all my dear friends here frequently.

Very late in posting, but condolences to you and your family DD. It was good to see Claire and David John at the game, but all our hearts were thinking of yours and Joy's absence, wishing they were for better reasons.
Love to you both.

It was good to visit with David John at the game, but please know how heavy our hearts were for you on that night, DD.
Safe travels as you travel to Portland to be with Daren's wife and daughters.
