M&A is coming soon, we have been talking with the Omegas and until we solidify our plans we are going to hold off on that thread, but I know there are many of us that are excited about a certain football game...in December. We are definitely tailgaiting in the winter!
As far as generic plans, that's the deal. The Omegas have been our awesome tailgating partners and we are gonna finish out the year the same way we started, grilling side by side. We might even be grilling on the same (huge) grill if things work out.
Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.

Might I add...it would be nice if we could get a completely tentative, non-binding head-count of those who think they may attend?
As I'm sure you are all aware, tickets are relatively expensive for the game. However, I'm more than willing to bet the ranch that there will be plenty of cheap tix available. Also, the game will be televised so, if you've got nothing better to do that day/days/weekend, just come hang at the tailgate for a spell.
Looking forward to celebrating this milestone in Duke FB history. Hell, I may even go in...
Peace,

Mom and I will be there, and we'll be bringing one guest. Believe it or not, we're
flying in to this bowl game.
So, CathyCA + 2 = 3

I'll be there. And rumor has it that Talklady will be too, flying back from a family vacation in The Cayman Islands a day early to be there!

I am figuring out plans, and would love to tailgate! I'll let you know once I've got confirmation from the rest of the family.

Sam and I each have one head.
The biggest administrative issue within a school system's Special Education program is our annual headcount (it determines the amount of our federal funding). It is more than just a numerical count of kids - it involves a multitude of complaince issues (hundreds of issues per student, times 4000 students - it is a monster). After having worked on it for a bunch of 12 hour days, I was at the point of exhaustion. While I was bitching about it one night Maureen said to me - "I don't know why this
headcount thing is all that complicated - If a student has more or less than one head surely they need to be in the Speical Education program." I've never been able to tell that joke at work - I'd get destroyed by politically correct special educators who would have grave concerns about my leadership given the fact that I thought it was so freakin' funny.

Cheer family of four and Mrs. Devildeac and daughter (just in case Devildeac does not respond for them). I am sending an email to all of our cheer parents and will post again if any of them are coming.

Since my SIL's hubby changed his mind about going,

I have an extra ticket for sale. PM me through the board if you know anyone that may be interested. Also, if anyone would like to carpool from the Durham area, let me know. AW.

We are trying to figure out parking options; Ozzie is contacting some ID folks, but overall things are not looking rosy. The lots that we want to park at don't open until 2:30, and the ones that do open earlier don't allow tailgating.
We should move the game to Wallace Wade, where the lots open in plenty of time, and there will still be room in the stadium for everyone.
