Good news and bad news, bad news first. This Saturday will be the last full TBCC tailgate of the season, due to our next game being after Thanksgiving and travel plans. The good news is that this is a night game, so we get to go out in style with one last all day party.
The weather is looking like a classic Fall football day, sunny but on the cold side with highs in the upper 50's and lows in the 30's. We want to make sure everyone stays warm, so the main course will be beef stew with lots of beef and lots of veggies, as well as brats with peppers, onions and various other topping possibilities. I will get both pork/beef brats as well as poultry sausages for the non red-meat eaters. Not stooping to tofu tubes though. Grilled chicken may also make the menu. Before the the main course you can heat up with a final round of ABT's and wings covered in TNT's patented spicy Triple 6 sauce.
For sides we'll have potato salad and beans.
My dad is out of town for this game, but Sagegrouse will be using his ticket.
Looking forward to another (and unfortunately our last until the yet-to-be-determined-bowl) great tailgate!

The Omegas would like to coordinate the last tailgate with us and have asked me to bring a bushel of oysters up from the coast.

I'm bringing a crowd so for starters we will be kicking in $$. It's Bob Green +7: wife (Flora), daughter (Janice), Grandson (Zeke), Flora's sister (Marissa), Brother-in-Law (Bob), niece (Marie) and niece (Marjorie). Of course we will have a cooler full of drinks for sharing including: water, girly drinks in bottles such as hard lemonade and Smirnoff Ice, Miller High Life and Boddington's Pub Ale.

I'll get back with ya'll on our side dish contribution once I finish consulting with the wife.

I'm bringing the usual 2 with, and we may get a visit from our neighbors (plus 5); I will let you know soon.

Ya oughta make a blue (devil) cheese dip to go with those chips. That would be cool and not violate any rules ;) .

Two lawgrads, bringing dead Presidents, plus whatever bizarre 6pack the Rev can find, a few Cokes and whatever else will fit in our cooler.

If we decide to bring a dessert, I will so advise.

So far the count is cheermom +5 and I am still waiting to hear from our cheer families. We will bring a veggie tray and a fruit salad and I am still working on a side dish. Alternatively, I may bring some turkey or chicken sausages to grill for those who do not eat red meat, unless grilled chicken makes the menu (edit, TBCC will get these). Our cheer families and other guests will drop some $$ in the collection jar.

Updated head count is me plus 6,so we will bring $$ too in addition to goodies.

Me and maybe one. $$. I would have loved to bring back some craft beer from Austin. There was no may. The team can alway call me if something needs to be picked up.



Added to by CB&B---VDB brought 3 bombers with her to the unc game that we didn't drink. I did a good job of not drinking them either while I held onto them. We have an arrogant bastard, a Duvel, and a Boatswain American I.P.A.. To that I am adding 3 home brewed stouts that I made last fall.

I liked your porter last year. I'm looking forward to the stout!

And oh, I can be the most arrogant bastard around at times!

2 more cheer parents are coming so we are a total of cheermom +7. In addition to the fruit and veggies, I will probably make deviled eggs and cheerdaughter may make a homemade bread. Our guests will bring $$ as well.

Per Cheermom's smart request, I got a package of turkey brats. The "maybe grilled chicken" is now definite, and I'll have plenty o' thighs hot off the grill tomorrow.
