Clemson has opened as a 14.5 points favorite in Las Vegas. I like our chances, but I'll like them a lot more once I see an injury report that doesn't include Sean Renfree.

We can hope that Sean and Juwan are over the illness they both were afflicted with Saturday before they were injured.... and we can hope that others don't get it this week. There is some sort of bug going 'round that includes a fever and upset digestive system.

Hopefully the bug that was going around is gone, gone, gone. We need the team at full strength. I realize he isn't listed on the injury report, but can any of you all confirm Connette is 100% healthy? It seems he has been banged up and limited in recent games. We may need him to play multiple positions on Saturday night.

Duke 37, Clemson 27
Clemson is ranked #1 in the ACC in Red Zone Defense so we need to demonstrate explosiveness and score from outside the Red Zone.

Clemson 42, Duke 21. If they are #1 in Red Zone defense, we are not gonna score that much especially considering we only put up 20 on vt and 7 on f$u.

But I'll be happy to be proved wrong ;) .
Their WR are gonna kill us.

Woohoo! It's gameday! Everyone needs to be sure and dress warm as the weather report predicts lows in the 30s. It might even be too cold to drink beer, nah, it's never too cold to drink beer that is like being too drunk to fish...

Clemson has thrown some haymakers....but we've responded. They keep targeting Cockrell and I think he'll pick'm...I think we've got a shot...28-17, we get a stop here and gets some points I think it'll start to get to Clemson.

We've come a long way, but still have a long way to go.

I think you hit the nail on the head.
I think we lost this game when Bryan Moore left the game. Without him, we 've only managed a field goal.

Giving up 484 yards in the 1st half didn't help matters.
At least we forced 4 turnovers. Just like like last week against f$u. That plan's not working
.

It seems like the status quo is for the offense to immediately execute a "3 and out" after each and every turnover forced by the defense. We need to capitalize on extra possessions.

Unless the 3 and out includes 6 points after the third play with a shot at one or two more...

I still can't believe that they scored 56 points on us and had 718 yards of total offense, almost 500 of which came in the 1st half.
