Help EarlJam "Link In!"

So I had a dinner meeting with a former co-worker Friday night. Not kidding at all. He told me one thing his human resources people do is go the the applicant's LinkedIn page to see how connected they are and see how good their profile is. Sounds shallow, but makes sense. In my field, social media is huge.
Well, I have a decent site, but should have (I am told) no less than 200 contacts. Right now I have 111 contacts. Yes, this is a shallow, desperate attempt at building up a site but hey, I don't mind. I'm just trying to show creativity and creativity is rewarded in my industry. So....
What do I need? I NEED YOU TO BECOME A CONNECTION ON MY LINKEDIN SITE!
I feel okay doing this because if you are a member of the Duke community, you ARE a member of MY community.
Please invite me! I'm "Dan Boon, Atlanta"
My e-mail address, if asked, is (
danbboon32@yahoo.com)
This will help me get a job I really want and NEED. Thank you in advance!

You're already one of my Linked In contacts.
(If anyone wants to be my Linked In contact, feel free to connect with me. If we're supposed to have 200 contacts, then I need to get to work on building that part of my Linked In profile. I'm not looking for a job right now, but I never know when having this information might be useful.)

I'm on there but haven't logged in in forever as I don't really have any use for it at the moment. But I will try to make a point of logging in and adding folks from here (not sure what good it will do you lot having a contact up here in the Great White North but if what you need is numbers I'll help out).

Colchar, if you could send snow to the deep south, that would be excellent!

I am not very good at Linked In and I tried to search for you, but when I put your name in, too many Dan Boon's came up. Anything else I can do to help narrow it down?

Cheermom,
First of all, THANK YOU! Secondly, you can never have too many "Dan Boons," although there is only one original!
I am the Dan Boon in Atlanta. Wearing a blue sports coat, mugging for the camera. (Integrated Communications Professional)
Hope this helps, and thanks again!

We're nowhere near having snow yet. We got virtually none at all last winter but, even though this winter is expected to be more normal than last year's was, we are still a ways away from having any snow (and the longer that white shite holds off the better!). For example, it was rainy today and is expected to be rainy for the next couple of days but it will be sunny and about 73 degrees here on Thursday.

Hey EJ,
I'm connected to this profile of yours:
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/dan-boon/2/300/208
But that seems out of date. I might suggest you close it out if you aren't using it, and want recruiters to find your 'real' profile.
I've sent an invite to your other profile.
