Time to smoke some Eagles! Well, since we can't legally smoke eagles we will settle on turkeys and chickens. The True Blue 'Cue Crew will be offering up whole turkeys, brined and smoked to go with barbecued chicken thighs. TNT will add his own other offerings to this list, but for myself I'll be doing some grilled veggies to go with dinner and bacon wrapped "crab" as appetizers, along with a 12 pack assortment of brews.
My dad is out of the country for this game, but a friend of his who often stops by may join us with his son(s).

For this tailgate we’re gonna’ try to serve the main courses around 5pm. Of course, there'll be stuff to eat most of the day so, come early if you can.

Weather: No worries for now! Looking A-OK, Partly cloudy with a Hi of 30C/87F (beware humidity)! And, of course, we have yet another lovely night game! WOOHOO!

Also, we now have a Twitter account, follow us: @TBCCrew

Cheddar-Beer spread w/crackers & veggies, Roasted mushrooms stuffed with Feta, Bacon & spinach;

Bob Green (+3):
Salads with assorted dressings;
Beers.

Ozzie (+?):

I will be attending with my Dad, Sister and Niece, so it is Bob Green +3. I'll contribute a 12 pack of brews. For food, I would appreciate a recommendation from the cooks (Tim, Chris & Ronnie) - what do you guys need me to bring to complement your efforts? Or, I'll throw in some cash, whichever is better for the overall effort.

I'll be there. Haven't talked with OzzieDaughter about them attending for a couple of hours in the afternoon before going to visit SIL's uncle outside of chapel hill. They won't attend the game, but I hope to introduce Ruthie to tailgating done right! :D B-) :happy-bouncyblue: :9f:

Very few Costco's were eaten at the first game. Has their appeal run their course or should I bring them again?

I will update when we figure out what else we are making/bringing.

Inspired by the news of the return of #8 I will bring home made fudge (some plain, some with walnuts). How does this tie in to Blair's recovery, you might ask. Allen alwasy makes home made fudge for the Hollidays!

Given that Cheermom and crew are attending, perhaps some bagged salad mixes and a couple of dressing choices? TBCC will provide additional veggies to use as salad items.
Okay, I'll provide the salads and dressings. And based on a recommendation from Devildeac, my beer contribution will be a 12 pack of Red Hoptober.

Dpslaw + 1. Bringing both lagers and ales! And green stuff. I'll also try to get some buns large enough for Ozzie's Costcos. We're bringing at least two bombers for sampling: Southern Tier Pumking, and Sweetwater Happy Ending imperial stout.

Laura Keeley, the new N&O Duke beat reporter (and a recent Duke grad), said she would stop by to visit with us on Saturday. She's doing a great job, so be sure to welcome her home!

Hey all-
Between vehicle shopping, loan-shopping and a flare-up of my back problems, my productivity has been way down. As such, I've had to strike some of my proposed contributions. I've updated the menu accordingly.

My apologies to all.

Peace,
TNT
