Lance ordered some custom jewelry in December 2009, but hasn't paid off the credit extended and is being sued.

Why did he spend $30k on a down payment for jewelry when he could use that money for a house? And where did a college senior get $30k?

I am hoping that there is some rational explanation. IF it turns out to be as bad as it looks we will be dropping a banner. The information thus far is one sided...I eagerly await Lance's side.

And with all that being said........ I was In Indy for the Final Four in 2010, and that was a heck of a ball game!!! and Gordon still missed the heave!!!
The whole LT story sounds like a April Fool's joke to me.

Andy Katz just retweeted from Laura Keeley that Lance Thomas has reached a settlement with the jeweler.

Well that settles that, the jeweler will not speak to the NCAA, so there is not much they can do....I will bet real money that the settlement includes a 'no-speaky' clause. It still smells bad...but that is as far as it goes.
