Son of BostonDevil now Officially a Dukie
Deposited in Blackwell dormitory on Tuesday. Starting classes today.
I shall do my best to inform him of the CrazieTalkers on Blue Devil Alley next Sunday. Ozzie tells me it's Sunday. Is that true?

It's Saturday. If I said Sunday it was an autocomplete error! It's definitely Saturday!TillyGalore wrote:I think it's Saturday.Bostondevil wrote:Deposited in Blackwell dormitory on Tuesday. Starting classes today.

If we party hard enough we might still be passed out in the lot on Sunday.

Is Blackwell one of the "new dorms" behind Giles on East?

Yes, Blackwell is indeed behind Giles. On the plus side, it's got air-conditioning and an elevator. Minuses? The rooms are really small.

Oh wait, I should probably post here that SonofBD has met all the freshman on the basketball team. They were hanging out in the Blackwell commons room (although I think they all live in Pegram). Anyway, Amile Jefferson was fooling around on the piano in the Blackwell commons room playing "Chopsticks" when SonofBD told him that he could really play. When challenged to prove it, he blasted out "Maple Leaf Rag". Amile Jefferson's response? "Awesome, Dude", followed by a high five. According to SonofBD it was the highlight of freshman orientation.

Send him my way! Rolvix and I will make sure he gets great seats at basketball games this year - and remind him not to take too many math classes!

Sorry, Native, he's already taking Multivariable Calculus. ;-)
All right so, how does SonofBD find your tent? He says he wants to stop by.

Re: Son of BostonDevil now Officially a Dukie
I'm actually applying to be a Line Monitor this year, so if all goes well I may not have a tent. I think Rolvix might, though, depending on what he's up to this year - I remember him telling me he was going abroad at some point so I'm not entirely sure. If he ever needs advice about anything tenting-related, let me know.Bostondevil wrote:Sorry, Native, he's already taking Multivariable Calculus. ;-)

Yeah, that's what he said on FB. And the tent checks at night are going to be a bitch for him to make!Native wrote:I'm actually applying to be a Line Monitor this year, so if all goes well I may not have a tent.
