Does anyone here, besides me of course, care enough about the NHL draft (and trade possibilities) to discuss it?

If so, who do you see going #1? And to which team (ie. will the pick be traded away)? Any unheralded players you think will be hits? Any big names that might be overrated?

I care about trades, but I can't say I care about drafts (in pro sports) or recruiting (in amateur sports) in any way. I'd like to play ball with you here, but the last significant development I was aware of in the NHL draft was, woah, them thar Penguins got Sidney Crosby.

Well something significant happens almost every year, whether it be trades on draft day or Team X drafting Player Y. Those draft picks might not get the same publicity as the Crosby pick but they are still significant in some way or another.

But I get that you (and probably most, if not all, others here) probably aren't into the NHL in the same way I am (or other Canadians are). Heck, trade deadline day is basically a national holiday up here - I spend as much time in front of the TV on that day as you likely do on the first day of the NCAA tournament!
