#2 in the whole damned south...

...but after dropping their 2nd game to FSU and...FSU holding a 2-1 seasonal record against both Duke and the holes...
the Noles, ACC Champions, get a #3 seed while the damned tarholes end up a #1? WTF? Really? Not just any #1 either, probably the 2nd overall choice, i.e. second place top seed overall.

We get set up in the South with Kaintukie. Mike Brey and Notre Dame await if it gets that far.(Coach K will love that 8-| )UNLV in the bracket, Geezis! I'm thinking of blaming the docu by Grant Hill, released tonight. As per usual, they did set it up that Duke would not face the holes unless it came down to the finals.

I really liked the way that CBS made State sweat it out to being the LAST team announced.

I love our bracket. As I'm writing this it's the only one I've seen yet; we were in Southpoint mall checking out some TV display they had on the main floor as they announced it. Nice timing.

I like our bracket. We need to snap out of our shooting slump and Kelly needs to get healthy, but I can see us winning the South Regional. Vanderbilt proved yesterday Kentucky can be beat and it would be so much fun to do it to the Wildcats again on the 20th Anniversary of The Shot!

Another beer will fix that.

Maybe a shot of Whiskey or Tequilla before that beer!

THE SHOT will be shown upteen times between now and the end of March Madness. I love seeing Grant throw the ball, and Christian catching, dribbling and making the shot!!! And the Voice of The Blue Devils, Bob Harris, over the airways! Love Bob Harris; he is the Best!

Love seeing the 2012 Shot of Austin Rivers over Tyler Zeller at the Smith Center aka Three Rivers Stadium.

I think the South Bracket is loaded! Kentucky (they hate Duke), Baylor (beat them in 2010 in Regionals), UConn, Wichita State, VCU, Notre Dame (Mike Brey, coach), UNLV (hated Duke since 91) and Indiana.

I wanted Indiana and UNC in the same bracket, so the Zeller brothers could meet each other on the court. Then Mr/Mrs Zeller wouldnt have to decide to so and see Tyler (Unc) play or Cody (Indiana).

Thank Goodness, Duke isn't in the same bracket with Unc, Florida State or NC State Or Virginia.

I saw where Joe Alleva(former AD Duke, current LSU AD) was on the Selection Committee 2012.

Someone called it the revenge bracket (Baylor, UNLV, Kentucky). Grant Hill said something on ESPN about the selection committee being so original putting Duke in Kentucky's region. I loved that.

Well, looks like we will need to get some revenge on Lehigh at a later date.

I do think we will struggle over the next couple of years. We don't have the athletic ability on this team to compete with the best teams...

I am numb and so sad that our senior cheerleaders' career had to end this way. They were strong and smiling until the end. :happy-cheerleaderkid:

Please tell Rachel and the other Senior Cheerleaders how much we appreciate their service over 4 years. Always smiling, always cheering until the bitter or sweet end. I did think that Duke would at least make it to Atlanta........... S**T, SFD.

Give the Girls Big Hugs, CheerMom........ :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug:

and tell them I said, thank you, and GTHC and Kentucky, also! :9f: :9f:

It definitely cannot be blamed on the cheerleading squad.

Whenever Duke loses in the tournament, I feel compelled to support the winners. This is one of the few times I can think of, that the winner is one that has absolutely NO chance of winnning the whole damned thing. For me, this is truly a bummer. A waste. An athletic fart. No! An athletic 'crap in your own pants'. I suppose UK folks are estatic and fit to be tied, this morning. I reckon I'll still watch and closely follow the exploits of this year's conference Champs. At least they aren't the holes. :9f: Not too sure I could take that.

NIT is on ESPN now, Seton Hall and UMass. Would Mizzou and Duke faired better in NIT vs NCAA? Joking, sort of kind of. =(( :(

Errr...ahh...Kenny Smith can go screw himself in every vile fashion possible! :9f:

When the holes choke...and they will, I will smile.

One of the people sitting on my tenure committee is a grad of both UNC and UK... I otherwise would have included the person in my Facebook culling this morning.

Both places can't lose quick enough.
