Guess the patient still doesn't have a leg to stand on and that must be rather disarming.

But the surgery has failed due to tissue incompatibility,
Don't they have a way of testing that on a small scale before spending an arm and a leg?

Chris,

You and DevilDeac should be ashamed of yourselves. Making JOKES about that? REALLY?

I know I push the limit sometimes but I must say I'm a little more than astonished at you two finding humor in something this serious.

I mean, it may be inconsequential news to you, but truth is, some people would give their arm and leg for such a surgery!

Like that armless and legless guy that guy stuck hanging on a nail in the wall down in our living room: I believe his name was Art. For his courage alone, he deserved a hand or two (as well as a couple of arms and legs).

Anyway, instead of making jokes about this guy, why not post comments that celebrate this amazing feet which is sure to enrich this leg of the person's life journey.

That is all. Shame on you two!

P.S. :happy-bouncyblue: :D =)) =)) =)) :D :happy-bouncyblue:

You two guys have really gone out on a limb with your comments.

I am adding this post as an appendage, err, amendment to your comments above to be certain they are not left (or right) in limbo.

I will not tell a fibula, that was excellent; though the patient may not find it as humerus. His disaster might not have been bad enough to call in FEMUR (the southern arm of FEMA), but still. Thank you, thank you. I'll be here ulna-ite!

My coworker Randy had to continue a case today because the defendant lost his ears in an ATV accident last week. (He is at Baptist Hospital having had them re-attached.)

Needless to say that discussion engendered some tasteless Van Gogh jokes before court.
