I sent Sam a link to this post. He sent me a "Thank you, Mom," and a "<3" on FB.

I'm certain that Coach K would appreciate all of our birthday wishes, too, if he knew about them. Back in the day, he personally responded to each card and letter he received. (I should know. . .)
