So around midnight my roommate decides we should go out for a drink. It is now 6:30 in the morning, I'm shitfaced, there are empty booze bottles all over my house, the Motorhead is cranked up, I'm the last one left standing, and the dog is looking at me like I'm a moron. Yeah, that was a good night.

Just thought I'd share that with all of you.

Nice, my favorite is the dog. You haven't TRULY had a great night until you think the dog is actually CALLING you a moron. ;)

and no amount of could get me awake.

Alka-Seltzer? That's for amateurs. Nothing needed except for some very strong coffee when I got up at noon. My roommate, on the other hand, is still dead because he spent the last 90 minutes of his night puking his ass off. Serves him right ;)

Unlikely. However the department's secretary did get a good laugh out of my Facebook status which says basically the same thing as my original post in this thread. But she's a sweetheart and won't say anything to anybody.

My son just showed up for a weekend visit with nearly the same story/physical condition.....hey....wait a minute....

I'm not that young any more. But there was a time when I was considering taking up drinking professionally (turns out the money sucks so I decided to maintain my amateur status) so I've had lots of practice.
