Are you guys familiar with William S. Burroughs and the cut-up technique of writing?

Check it out: Cut-up Generator

You take text, copy it and paste it into the cut-up generator, and the generator creates new text. Burroughs argued that you'd get the true meaning of the original piece, even with the words all mixed up.

For example, I put the sentence above in the Cut-up Generator and got this result:

"text. original of true it take creates into Burroughs all piece, original true the generator cut-up text, that and argued take text, meaning take text. the generator, the words cut-up new the the creates and with meaning text. "

I think I need to do some recreational drugs before this will work.

Isn't that the best way? It's so much cheaper and easier. After all, to rednecks, a 12 pack and a bug zapper is quality entertainment. I'd argue that that's the case for 90% of guys.

Actually, my wife's family has many, including "if your family tree comes back together after forking".

I actually made up two about my wife's family. These aren't things that JF has actually said, but they are things that her family has done that I think qualify. One is "If you want to burn down a house so you can use the hookups for a double wide, you might be a redneck." Tell me I shouldn't send that to Jeff.
