Quinn Cook
Are you kidding me? 17 A and 0 TO the last 2 games. I'm still not ready for him to start but those are amazing stats, even against 2 out-classed foes. I like our point guards just the way they are right now .

Re: Quinn Cook
I don't remember when having options was a bad thing.
If Quinn starts, it will be the second year in a row we've had a freshman starting PG. Last year we had both Irving and TT.

Me either. I like his play, but given the choice, I have to favor experience a little more.devildeac wrote:Are you kidding me? 17 A and 0 TO the last 2 games. Right now, I don't see that much wrong with Thornton.

Re: Quinn Cook
Right? I've heard so much on-air discussion of our PG situation, like having a bunch of guys who can play the point is a negative. We don't have A point guard, but guess what? One of those guys gets hurt, we have several others who are totally ready to step in. I don't see the problem.CameronBornAndBred wrote:I don't remember when having options was a bad thing.

Quinn is really stepping up! So good to see A Freshman emerge! The boys certainly need some Leadership.

I was calling for a TT infusion during the 2nd half.Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:So why did he only get into the game for a minute or two today? Newsflash!!!! We NEED a real point guard!

It appeared to me that we were experimenting with Austin Rivers running the offense. Maybe I was imagining things. Any interesting post-game comments from K?

Quinn missed the Maryland game with the flu. I thought he looked a little puny.
Coach was EXTREMELY unhappy after the game. I imagine the locker room needs yet another repainting.
