Happy New Year!

The family new year tradition is to go on a hike in the woods. Because the 1st is on Sunday, we are planning on hiking on the 2nd. A cold front came through last night - we should have moved it up a day to hike in 60 degrees instead of 30. :D I believe it is supposed to be dry so it will be fine.

(We have hiked in tshirts, snow, below 0, and everything in between. Weather determines length of the hike.) If you are in the metropolitan KC area, feel free to join us at 10am tomorrow at the Overland Park Arboretum.)

:animals-dogrun: I was still in my jammies when Willie had to go out at 6:00 this morning. We didn't so much hike, as we did hunch. (There isn't a dog-huching smilie...but he did smile a bit. Didn't run though.)
