Hope everyone else has a good Christmas but mine will be quiet this year. My brother and sister-in-law are in Seattle to spend Christmas with her Mom and Stepdad as her mom has cancer and they are not sure how many more Christmases she has left. So that leaves me and my parents but my Mum went to the dentist two days ago to see about a crown that had come loose (it was put on after a root canal about ten years ago but that root canal hadn't worked properly and she still had occasional problems with that tooth) and the dentist decided it was best just to pull the tooth so now the left side of her face is so swollen she looks like she went a couple of rounds with Mike Tyson and, as such, there is no way she will be up for eating a Christmas dinner. So it looks like we won't do much and will just have our Christmas dinner sometime next week when she is feeling better.

Hug your mom for us!!!! And just take the day off tomorrow! You can make Christmas any and every day you would like to have it. Just let us all know when you choose it to be so we can all celebrate with you!!!! And enjoy tomorrow the peace that was meant to be.

Dukediv2011/12/13's home church had a live nativity scene tonight with 2 small donkeys and 3 sheep/lambs. Should I be worried that all I can think about now is animal sacrifices, charcoal grills and ram chops?
