Flying is safer than driving, especially on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. We usually don't get forty miles worth of Tar Holes up here...

A thoroughly icky business. What cracked me up was the little tidbit about how truckers are responsible for securing their loads, but there is an exception for feathers from live or slaughtered animals...

I heard about this right after it happened. They are probably 'Total Loss' vehicles, now.
One can always detect the presence of a chicken truck up ahead by the 'snowing' of feathers in the air. These things are one of the saddest and stinkiest sights on the road.
