An opportune time for a bye-week

How cool is this? We go into our bye week with a 3 game winning streak, nursing injuries, with Florida State on the horizon. I don't think we could ask for much of a better situation to be in. (Except we could be 4-1, but sigh, damn Spiders...) I would expect for us to be playing FSU with a full corps of running backs, which will be nice, as well as a chance for players such as Russ Cockrell who played banged up against FIU to get back to full strength.
Having the three game streak is sweet, especially after our last game was a come from behind road win, which is a game that we have not won in the past. It has to be a great confidence builder for the team, but of course we still must be better if we hope to make noise against the Seminoles. I'd love to know what happened to our D this past weekend, but they sure didn't look like the same team that held BC scoreless in the second half and manhandled Tulane. Whatever the reason, they now have 2 weeks to work on what went wrong.

Also looking forward to see if Lee Butler is fully recovered, Josh Snead plays (Ozzie said he was in uniform for FIU) and Brian Moore are back on the field for f$u and if Will Snyderwine's ankle is full healed. Johnnie Williams was also listed as probable last week so hope he is near or at 100% for f$u, too.

The Bye Week is great as we need to get healthy before the meat of the ACC season starts. However, from the fans perspective, Bye Week sucks!!! :twocents: It's Friday night and I should be getting geared up for game day but we have to wait another whole seven days. X(

Yep, I know...I'm whining... :violin: :violin: :violin:

Two games a week is another great thing about college basketball.
