Looks like our O-line is going to take a hit. Brian Moore is out with a Fractured Arm.

Before lamenting the effects to the team, I think it's important to say how tough this must be to Brian or anyone injured. Hopefully he can come back after only missing a few games...we certainly need him.
I do wonder if this will mean a freshman isn't redshirted that would have otherwise. I guess, here's to hoping Conor Irwin can come in and fill the role.

I liked Cut's attitude. "Inuries are a part of the game". Besides stating that, he also said this should be taken as on opportunity by those on the depth chart to step up. Hard to disagree. Yes, Brian's injury is pretty big, but it's also a window for someone else. Thad Lewis made the most of his window as a freshmen, I'll always remember that. Also, IF we are going to get injured, it's a great time of year to break your arm. Still 3 weeks away from our first game, he'll be back on the field before the end of the season. "Remember , remember the 5th of November". That's the day we face Miami in the month that we must win games.

Olympic Fan, a poster with immense credibility, addresses the injury in this post at DBR:

Basically, Dave Harding moves to the starting center role and redshirt freshman Laken Tomlinson takes over for Harding as one of the starting guards.

Good stuff, as usual Mr. Green.

#33 Desmond Scott was on crutches during the 4th quarter. Any updates?

Jawan Thompson (#23) went down, too. Any news on him?

Unless there are some information leaks, doesn't Coach Cutcliffe usually talk about injuries around Thursday?

From a reliable source on DBR: "All injuries are day-to-day at this time and will be re-evaluated tomorrow. Thompson is more likely to play Saturday than Scott."
