Anyone know of a legal, reliable and legitamite way to make a few bucks on the side each month? Talking about $100 or so a month here.

Any real ideas would be much appreciated!!!

I occasionally housesit for people. I stay at their house while they are out of town and take care of their pets. You can check around for kennel rates to get an idea of what to charge. The income varies for me - from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand dollars a year. I don't do it as much now as I used to but it kept me in soccer league fees for quite a few years.

No other ideas?

I think there is a gal here in town who has a little business on the side where she looks after insurance billings, filings, receipts for people... mostly the elderly. My mother used her service and found it really helpful since she was so confused by all that. Clients paid the gal a hundred dollars up front and then were charged by the job. (I don't remember how much, but it was very reasonable.) All my mother had to do was collect her receipts and give them to her. She'd make sure everything was filed correctly and paid. Little old ladies would love you for it, EJ. You charmer you.

Morning paper route... assuming that the AJC still does it.

With the high price of gasoline, I dont know about a paper route. So many people dont take the newspaper anymore, since the internet.

I know, but for the next year or so, AJC still delivers loads of papers (especially on Sundays).
