Lemons

I love lemons.

Many people love lemons.

But my love for lemons goes beyond the average, "Mmmmmmmmmmmm, that zesty lemon flavor" thinking. Usually, after drinking sweet tea with, yes, you guessed it, lemon wedges, I will take out the lemon wedges, peel the fruit from the skin and eat the lemon straight up.

That's how much I love lemons. I eat lemons.

What about you? Do you love lemons to the point you will actually peel and eat them?

Wasn't there a civil war general that like to do this? He loved lemons. Stonewall Jackson?

Not lemon wedges, but lemon slices--if they are hanging out in my tea, I'll dump some sugar on them and eat the hwole thing.

Otherwise, no. I don't eat lemons. I did see a show where they grilled lemon slices for a salad--very tempting,

EJ, go to the head of the history class. Stonewall Jackson is correct.

I like lemons. I wouldn't peel and eat them, but I would eat lemon slices if available.

My grandmother used to make REAL lemonade with REAL lemons on July 4th for the family cookout. It was in a big pot on ice, and you got it out of the pot with a dipper. That was always my favorite part, and made up for the fact that Grandma didn't make her family specialty hot rolls for July 4th like she did for all over family dinners.

Can't say I'd eat one like an orange, but lemons are as basic in my kitchen as salt. I never leave the market without more lemons. I frequently have a bowl of them sitting on the counter since they're pretty to look at, as well.

When asked what she missed while in the clink, Martha Stewart replied, "Lemons".

Love, Ima

And Johnny's reply was allegedly, "I'll bet that straightens out his putter/putting."

In a very strange way, you are calling Arnold Palmer a virgin. :)

Avoid sleep/fatigue at the steering wheel. Bite a lemon when drowsies hit. It'll wake you up.

I love lemons. I use only lemon scented cleaning products in my house. It makes the entire house smell good: Cascade, 409, Dawn, Pledge, Pine-Sol, Comet, and even Lemon Mist spray in the bathrooms.

When I was selling my house in California, my home stager made me keep a bowl of fresh lemons on the counter.

Tossing a lemon in the garbage disposal makes the whole kitchen smell good, too!
