Giraffes Are Not Real.

Post by Rolvix » June 11th, 2009, 3:12 pm

So this past year I made an important discovery that the public should be aware of. Discovery channel has created the so-called "Giraffe", as a ploy to take over the world. I did a speech in English about this topic, and many people believed that I was serious

1. What do Giraffe eat when they are too tall for the bushes, and too short for the trees? At that point in evolution, how did the species survive?

2. Why do Giraffe have horns? They don't. In reality they are antennae used to communicate with a central server/mothership run by Discovery Channel, who, by the way, is going to take over the world. (After Google)

3. What do Giraffes defend themselves with? Sure they kick, but if the lion is in front of them?

4. In childbirth, how does the baby survive the 4 - 5 foot drop from their mothers to the cold, hard earth? Impossible.

People still think I am serious. My speech spawned a school-wide discussion about the real-ness (need a word!) of the Giraffe.

Ages ago, when I was born, one of my sister's couldn't wait for me to get home from the hospital. She had been listening to my parents discuss where to position the crib to avoid the giraffe. She thought the family was getting a giraffe and was very excited. She was disappointed to find out they wanted to avoid a draft so my crib didn't get placed by the window.
