Why Pay More?

Are you talking about the rising GAS Prices at the Pump?
Either pay for the gas, or walk, carpool or stay at home!

Sometimes it isn't worth the effort or the trip or the delay, to save the amount that you may realize.
$3.75 as opposed to $3.80, for a 20 gallon purchase may save $1.00, but it only buys you about another quart.
What a reward! 8-|

With the rising prices at the Gas Pump, Food has gone up also!

Everything has risen in price, with the Exception of Job Salaries and Wages and Benefits!

One of our secretaries drives to EVERY grocery store in the varnish zone on her lunch breaks during the week because one has hamburger on sale, another bread, another chicken, etc. She is driving the wheels off her car just to save a quarter a product.

With the job market being as it is right now, I'd count myself happy to have a job.

When I was a kid, we had a neighbor who did the same thing - he'd go 8 miles out of his way to save $0.25 on coffee. He had obviously never done the math regarding the gas he was burning, and this is back when gas was cheap.

With gas in NC, at almost $4 a gallon, why would anybody drive around to save a quarter? Or even a Dollar? Time is Money also.
