That is sad. I wish I had gotten to talk to him more at Brunchgates...but I've read plenty of his words.

Think you could put his painting up here and over on DBR. Ya know, the one with Bill, the author/celebrity, and the shady characters on each side of him .

I never got the honor to meet him. I have been a reader.
Anyone that you folks look up to, is enough of an endorsement for me.

He was fortunate enough to spend his life doing something he clearly loved...and he did wonderfully.

I toast Bill Brill for a life well lived, and send vibes to the family to see them through this difficult time.

I already miss Bill Brill. I loved reading his articles and books. His obit on GoDuke.com was so becoming (the author, of course, Mr Brill). I will miss him at the Blue Devil Club meetings. His questions and insight to Duke Football and Basketball, will be missed by all. Prayers for the family and all the Duke community.

There is a place in Heaven for the Duke Blue Devil fans.

What time this Saturday (June 11) is the SPREADING THE BRILL ? Will you gather at the Brunchgate location in Card gym lot? Thank you!

This must be National Ash Spreading Day. FIL's will be cast upon the lake this day, as per his wishes. The way the water level is being dropped, it's now... or next year. And, he was promised that he woouldn't have to wait very long.

I will be in the VA mountains throughout the weekend. I will also raise a glass of fine beverage to Mr Brill's memory.

Here Here!!! Like the pictures! Brunchgate ~ Brillgate! I like that! Bill Brill, a man that loved everything DUKE!

I truly miss Bill Brill. He would enlighten us at Blue Devil Club meetings, and ask the best questions to the speaker. I missed him, especially for Coach Cutcliffe and Coach K luncheons.

I know that Brill would have loved the 2013 Duke Football Season !
