I worry about her kids. They deserve to be loved and not have so much drama and turmoil around them.

Why does she have the children anyway, since she was convicted of three counts of child abuse on the situation with the previous boyfriend? Shouldn't DSS have kept the kids last time, maybe allowed her to work her way back to custody? Or is that too much to ask? (says the jaded prosecutor)

Didnt Jesse Jackson or someone from the NAACP pay for her tuition at NCCentral? And why was that? I havent heard Jesse, Al Sharpton or the NAACP Prez (big guy... is that Barbour?) running to the Durham jail, to stand by her side! She is just a Bandit!

Unfortunately, people in domestic court say stupid stuff to protect their spouse/partner all the time, even if that person has been abusive to them in the past. I once spent HOURS with a lady who was beaten so badly part of her intestines had to be removed, getting her ready for court, ready to testify in front of her abuser, etc. I even talked to her until 6:45pm the night before preliminary hearing.

The next day she came to court and said she fell while carrying firewood, and that's how she ended up in the hospital for three weeks.

My heart breaks for those kids, continually dragged through this muck.

According to the news, Crystal had only been living with this man for 2 weeks.

Domestic violence is horrible. Whether it is verbal abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse, etc. The broken bones and bruises heal within time, but the verbal and emotional abuse remains with you, forever. YOU NEVER FORGET IT!

And the young children, are subject to all of this. It will remain with them, also.
