If you knew could you try anything and not fail (and money was no object), what would you accomplish?

Wow. That's a tough one. Selfish: I'd like to be an NFL player. Selfless: I'd like to cure cancer and AIDS. Realistic: Sell my book and have a decent career as a novelist.

Now that you take money out of the equation, IT would have definitely been professional baseball! There are many other things that I have accomplished and WILL ACCOMPLISH (LIKE WIN THE LOTTERY

I hope/wish for world peace, an end of poverty, and for Klemnop to streak down Franklin Street after Clemson thumps the Holes in Chapaheeya for the tenth straight year.

If I can't have those, I'd wish to be the third singer in Flight of the Conchords... or to be part of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

As for wishes, I think Steve Martin said it best on SNL a while ago when he recited his "holiday wish":

I would throw the biggest dinner/part/concert for my friends then take them all on vacation. And I'm not referring to friends who would come out of the woodwork.

I would also want to run March Madness. That's always been a goal.

I'd love to travel the world, including an around the world cruise.

And I'd like to be a professional dancer and later open dance studios and bring in the best teachers and choreographers.

And I'd get a personal trainer and personal chef.

Of course, all of this is regardless of money or reality.

I would like to start my own business, one that would serve a currently underserved population in some meaningful way, not only to help its customers but also the employees. (Oh, and would let me also spend a good three months every year travelling to the historic and/or the exotic.)

Now I've just got to figure out what that business would be/do!

I would like to walk on the Moon.
I would like to travel the world to sample cuisine and perfect my culinary skills.
I would like to be able to jump off of very tall objects and not hurt myself when I land.

I'd run my own theater company.
I'd also like to have something I've written produced in New York.
I'd like to get my Duke-Carolina play done at Duke sometime, maybe reunion weekend next year.

Not next year, but sometime, I think I'll run the Boston Marathon again. I know. Did you believe me? Anyway, I'd like to run the Boston Marathon without my knees collapsing or my calf muscles cramping and see what happens. Katie Holmes, I still want you!!
