Okay, so at work today, this woman was in the store and she made a comment sort of like the following: "Oh man, I have a run in my pantyhose; that is so gross."

I thought, "No it isn't. Personally, I, EarlJam, LOVE runs in stockings. Hot, HOt, HOT!"

So, I ask the men (and hey, women, if you have an opinion weigh in too), are runs in silky, shiny, smooth, leg-hugging pantyhose hot or not?

A run in pantyhose means:

1. I must find some nail polish to stop the run from growing any larger.

2. My professional look is ruined for the day.

3. I need to go to Target and buy another pair of stockings. The entire trip will end up costing me $150.00 because I will see other things I "need," like the newest sock monkey themed nightgowns from Nick and Nora, some thematic dishes, hand towels, chips, gum, a t-shirt, seasonal decorations and laundry detergent.

I despise runs in pantyhose.

Well, it's a similar profession. We both get paid for our time....Put me down for despising runs, as well, except we in the varnish zone don't have a Target. I have a spare pair of panty hose in the ladies room. Fortunately, I now have enough pant suits and jackets that I don't wear hose very often.

I have shared my thoughts on hose around here at least once before, and sorry EarlJam, but runs in them are not hot.

One of my favorites. Almost as good as 'The Goonies'.

I like the scene where Fiona is wearing the black thigh highs in the "thingy chair" and she's doing the Memphis Meat Mash with that Elvis impersonator and the two horses.

Yes, it was a bit crass, but the director elegantly glossed over that with a rich plot and a surprising (if heartbreaking) twist of fate at the end.
