They used a still camera mounted on a tripod, and they swung it around three times snapping pictures, raising the elevation angle each time, then put a composite picture together. That's how some people got "captured" multiple times.

During the third rotation, when it was angled up the most to get the "upper most seats" DD and I were standing and clapping in response to something the band was playing (a natural response to the fight song I think). I suddenly realized that we might have blocked out the folks behind us, but obviously they used the previous rotation in our section for "our" picture.

I knew there was a technical reason for it, ;) but felt compelled to make a phunnie.

We figured it was good mojo having almost everyone with us for that game. I'm just sorry we didn't get pics of you and Jonathon blowed up in time (which means we don't have enough digital pics of you two). Mom and Dad were in the positions where they used to sit.
