MLB stadiums attended

wilson prompted this with his comment on the LTE about Dodgers tix and stadiums attended. Therefore, the question: How many MLB stadiums have you attended? And, as a clarification, I guess your number should be accompanied by what event/s you attended there. For example, I never saw a Washington Senator/Nats game but I did attend a USA/Colombia soccer match at RFK several years ago so I'll include that on my list. ;)

-Turner Field: Again, countless Braves games
-(old) Busch Stadium: Cardinals game, 1992
-Riverfront Stadium (Cincinnati): Reds game, 1992
-Camden Yards: Orioles game, 2004
-Fenway Park: Red Sux game, 1991
-Wrigley Field: Cubs games, 1987 & 2000
-(new) Comiskey/US Cellular Field: White Sox games, 1998 & 2000
-Yankee Stadium: Yankees game, 2007
-Veterans Stadium (Philadelphia): Phillies game, 1990
-Dodger Stadium: Dodgers game, 2007

So I guess it's 11. Still pretty good, I think. I've also been to 15 or so minor league parks.

Depends when you were there. Prior to 2005 it was called the Skydome, after that date it became the Rogers Centre. But you'd be safe calling it the Skydome (or Dome for short) as that's what we still call it.

Fenway Park - many times, first one last game of the '87 Season, Clemens pitched a 3 hitter and struck out 14 for his 20th win and 2nd consecutive Cy Young. Sigh.

The stadium the Orioles played in before Camden Yards, what was it called? Orioles game '85 season, Fred Lynn hit a walkoff homer with Ripken on base. (I've decided to call the gathering of players at home plate for a walkoff the Home Scrum.)

Riverfront Stadium - 1st ever MLB game, Cincinnati Reds in I think '74 season
Yankee Stadium - super hot day, extra innings, the concession stands ran out of water so we left, no kidding, don't know who won

Olympic Stadium in Montreal - sat through an hour rain delay and an 11 inning extra inning game on to see Steve Garvey get a game winning hit for the visiting Padres. Craptastic!!!!!! (I hated Steve Garvey.) Tim Raines hit a lead off triple in the botton of the 9th and no one could bring him home!

Fulton County Stadium - many Braves games, was there for Bob Horner's 4 home runs against the Expos on either July 5th or July 6th, 1986.

Old Busch Stadium in St. Louis - don't remember who won.

PacBell park in San Francisco - '04 season, Bonds had the day off, day game after a night game. Padres beat the Giants.

Arlington Stadium - many Rangers games, never went a single game at Arlington where I didn't witness a fight. If they players didn't oblige, somebody in the stands did.

Of the 8 MLB stadiums I have visited, only 2 still stand.

You double-listed Fulton County...did you mean to list Turner Field? If you haven't been, then I think a road trip is in order. It's really a beautiful stadium, and people who have been to lots of stadiums and are big baseball fans are always telling me how much they like it. Obviously I'm biased, but it's a good spot. Plus, I think you mentioned that you haven't met any of us in person yet. Kill two birds and all.

3. and the new Comisky Park My former father-in-law used to take us to the snazzy fancy restaurant behind the glass wall for an amazing meal then we would head out to the seats 10 rows above the Sox dugout for dogs and brews! Comisky has fabulous food. I am also convinced that a female was the lead architecht because all the women's bathrooms have so many stalls you never wait in line whereas the men do !!!

I can't believe that's it...oh, the BOB or whatever they are calling it in Phoenix now(Chase Field?).

Yankee Stadium, (original, pre 1974 renovation design) many times from 1961 through 1972 seasons. Front row box seats down the right field line, just behind the tarp, was the box my dad usually bought (single game tickets, once or twice a season). Tickets cost $3.50 each the first few years, then went up to $4.00. Sheesh. My "best friend growing up" bought tickets in the same box when I visited him in 1994. He called it my 40th birthday present, and the tickets cost about $60 each.

Yankee Stadium (post 1974 renovation design). The game mentioned above, plus game 4 of the 1976 World Series. The Yanks lost to the Reds in 4 that year. I think I paid a scalper about $20 for the ticket.

Fenway Park, July 20, 1969. The Eagle landed mid game, and the Sox beat the O's, I think. Look up the date if you don't know what I mean by the Eagle landed.

Shea Stadium, for a couple of Mets games. Also saw several NY Jets football games there.

Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. Went there on business for a game sometime back in the late 80's.

Phillies - Citizens Bank Park. Went there last year for a game when I was in Philly. Wonderful stadium!

I'm almost embarrassed that the list is so small.

Holy crap, is it new? I was definitely in the old one. I was there watching Freddy Patek play back in my not so glorious Little League days.

I have to thank my parents for the (I think) solid length of my list at a still relatively young age.
Every summer when I was growing up (for 8 years or so, at least), my parents would take us on a family vacation to a different city. We'd see the sights and generally enjoy the city. This typically included local historical stuff, museums, and the like, and it always included a zoo and/or aquarium and a major league baseball game. Those were fun trips.
