Wilson, you hate sleet? I can understand freezing rain. But sleet? Sleet can be fun. Not as fun as snow, of course, but still. I like sleet. In fact, for clarity, following is a chart showing (in order of like), my feelings about wintry precipitation:

Wintry Precipitation EarlJam's Feelings For
Snow LOVE!
Sleet Like.
Freezing Rain Dislike.
Cold Rain Hate with a passion

Granted, the "chart" kind of came out all fucked up.

Liking snow, I can get with. In fact, I'd agree with you. But what in the hell is there to like about sleet?

That's it. The sound and if it sleets hard enough, you can sled on it and it turns everything white like cocaine or ivory.

OK, I'll concede that. I wasn't thinking along those lines at all, but upon reading this, I remembered that yes, in fact, the sound is really, really cool. However, I'm still not sure that's enough to overcome sleet's pain-in-the-ass factor.

Listen to sleet portrayed in Vivaldi's Four Seasons (Winter). Bella, bella! Magnifico!

No. It isn't. And not much fun to be involved with, anyplace in north Jawjah.
