WHY are cupcakes in style now? I've seen more FoodTV time devoted to cupcakes, we have about three new cupcake stores near where we live, and people are even using them for wedding receptions in place of wedding cakes.

Would someone explain this mystery to me?

I put a small car on one today. Then I took the car off and ate it. Ha Ha. Just kidding. I did not eat it. I threw it away. But I did put a small car on one. If you don't believe me, see my post below. Or perhaps my post lead you to starting this thread. ROFLMAO. I don't know. LOL. Ha Ha. Either way, man, I don't know but cupcakes are indeed in style. SOMHLAMITMWGLALSG!

You know, I really don't like chocolates and sweets like that so much. I prefer SweetTarts and those types of candies. But for some reason, I think I could eat a cupcake right now. LOLLAMF! Maybe they are so popular because they are like mini or, as some would say, "fun-sized" cakes therefore they allow for all the flavor of a cake with icing in a more convenient, less-filling and less-calorie package. IDK JMO.

Cupcakes are fine, but overrated. I don't get the mania either. The last time I was in NYC, someone took me to the famous cupcake joint in the Village that is supposed to be the absolute truth (the one that was on Sex and the City). We waited in line for over half an hour, and the cupcake was utterly forgettable. I've honestly had better from Publix (not to mention my mother's kitchen).

I hate people that eat cupcakes and hope they all burn in Hell.

Magnolia Bakery.

My SILs took me there in August. Their red velvet cupcakes are to die for! I went there not expecting much and left wanting more.

Pictures exist in my FB photo albums.
