Indeed, they did. The heels put together a decent run at the close of the first half to cut the deficit to 1 point at the break, but other than that, they were listless and uninspired throughout. A good win for the Jackets, but make no mistake, this is still not a very good Georgia Tech team (the game on the whole was exactly a clinical performance in any fashion). Some definite points of concern for the baby blues tonight.

You both should've joined the party in Section 21! A good time was had by all.

We were out to supper with friends of B's. I checked ESPN scorecenter at halftime and noted that the Bees were up 1. Imagine my surprise about 5 minutes later when Chuck the tablemate got up to go to the restroom, stopped by the bar TV on the way back, and said it was a 12 point game.

We heard a little of Ol' Roy on the radio, postgame. He didn't say much about Iman Shumpert except that he "tried to recruit the heck out of him."

Private high school girls' teams don't have more TO's than made FG's. Amazing.

Sorry I missed the party in Section 21, but otherwise, a very good night.

DWP, join us in Section 21. You can get to it from the CTN home page (just make sure you're not logged in to the forums here) I wasn't there tonight because I promised my tarhole boytoy I wouldn't chat with you guys during carolina games, but it sure was SWEET, regardless!!!
