I'll wonder about the refs. I remember when our ladies played out there a couple years ago and had about 25-30 PF called against them and about 15 against Stanford.

UCon just frankly got outplayed. There were some borderline calls, but they shot 33% from the floor, 32% from 3-point land, 10-16 from the foul line and got outrebounded by 5. Stanford shot almost 46% from floor, 36.8% from 3, and 14-18 from the foul line. Maya Moore was 5-15; Hayes was 1-9.

That was exactly it. Stanford totally took Moore out of the game, and just flat out played a brilliant game of basketball. Great job, Cardinal!

Congratulations to both girls teams!!

And especially the UCONN team....... because they have brought attention and focus to the Girls Basketball league. I heard a week or 2 ago, Gino was going off, on ESPN, about how little attention goes to Women's sports.

I also, know, from ESPN, that UCONN did not play Tenn, during the streak of games.

Stanford just outplayed Uconn. Didnt see the game, but all the highlights on ESPN this morning.
