Woah! So far we've trapped two big ol' beavers up at the lake. (They've taken out 25 small trees and ripped the bark to waist high on our huge old Oak along our shore line!) The two we've caught are bigger than our Labrador Retriever!!!! 60 and 80 pounds !!!!!
Tilly asked what we were going to do with them. Native suggested we dump them on Ol Roy's yard. Sounds like a plan!
Love, Ima

You know, we were talking in Section 21 Monday night about taking a bunch of animals to the dump on the hump, and have the animals
on campus.

At least you didn't have a night mare.

Beaver teeth are huge. One of my friends in Kenansville owns a large farm. They made the biggest mess there with their damns. Before she discovered they were there, the beavers flooded about 15 acres. Wild life can in and got 17 of them. They didn't move them to another location. They put them down. I was surprised but after thinking about it, I can see why relocating wouldn't work.
