Locking threads

A reminder that we decided when threads were going to be locked and explanation would indicate why the thread was being locked. Otherwise, we are not better than other sites.

Not my doins'. I have no answer, other than to think if it's a private thing for Coach and his family then maybe it should be kept that way?

Debbie is not a public figure, and so I think that we should respect her privacy. If it were up to me--well, it's not up to me--I would have deleted the information up on the board.

I disagree, Debbie is a public figure, as she works with the program. Never the less I do agree her privacy should be respected. But, that is not this issue here.

The point of this thread is a reminder that deletions and locked threads without explanation make us no different than other sites.

I don't have a problem that the thread was locked, just that it was locked without an explanation.

That seems to fly in the face of why this board was created.
NOTE: Quoted parts of a deleted post in this post were deleted.

Wasn't me, I was on the road today. Happily internet free for a while. Agree on the need for an explanation when a thread is locked.

Hmmm, any particular reason why Ozzie's post and my question about his "super secret power" was deleted?
