Re: Victory Bell Tailgate -- Menu & Attendance
I'll be three, bringing OzzieDaughter and her carolinarootingbutDukealumnibandplaying husband with me. We'll get there about 11 a.m. The baby will stay home with Mrs Ozzie And I'll be bringing steaks from Princeton's Town Market, for grilling. Most likely NY Strips, 8 ounces, ~1/2" thick, to be cut into 4 ounce sandwich sized portions which everyone preferred last year! I'll also bring rye bread, which I think is the perfect bread for a steak sammy both taste and consistency wise. And of course, I'll also be bringing Bud Light, some sodas for my daughter and whatever the carolina boy wants to drink...

Rolls might be better as they would not get soggy. Bring carolina boy something bitter to drink .OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I'll be three, bringing OzzieDaughter and her carolinarootingbutDukealumnibandplaying husband with me. DukePA plus 2 (Josh and Liz can't make it )
Mimosas, as usual.
and Oysters (already cleaned) a few of the Omega tailgaters agreed to cook them. I'll email Darrell Spells to make sure, but we should be able to toss them on a grill regardless.
GO DUKE!!!!

CathyCA + 1 before the game.
Mom and Miss Fran may stop by, but I'm not sure of their plans for Saturday.
I'll bring a pecan pie again, plus some mimosa fixins and some Natural Light beer.

Re: Victory Bell Tailgate -- Menu & Attendance
shereec + 5, one of whom is Stephane, the 2nd French Dude (he came to the Va game with us and has been a Duke fan since he was 15). He is so stoked about this game - he wants us to drop him off at the chapel so he can walk with the football team! I honestly don't know what I'm bringing yet - still very much in Thanksgiving prep mode and trying to keep that all going smoothly.

Very cool that Stephane is coming to another game and is joining the Devil Walk! The Blue Devil is French inspired, after all!shereec wrote:shereec + 5, one of whom is Stephane, the 2nd French Dude (he came to the Va game with us and has been a Duke fan since he was 15). Re: Victory Bell Tailgate -- Menu & Attendance
Since it will be (thankfully!) a long day, that means we can do some real barbecue. My contribution will be three or four racks of pork baby back ribs, depending on announced attendance.

Oh boy! One of my law partners is going to join us pre-game. He and his wife (who is my fabulous realtor) and their son, who is in school at Duke Divinity, will be joining us.
So, make that Cathy +4 for the pregame.

I also will have a few Sweet Sixteens and Dead Ants with me. Both my dad and stepmom are joining us, so it's CB&B +3.

Re: Victory Bell Tailgate -- Menu & Attendance
We will bring a non-traditional spinach salad which will include mandarin orange sections, craisins, slivered almonds and feta cheese and tossed with a thick balsalmic vinagrette dressing. It will be made at Brunchgate Saturday AM.
