Happy Veterans Day

Post by devildeac » November 11th, 2010, 8:58 am

Too important a topic to be buried in the LTE.

Let someone in the Armed Forces know today that you appreciate their service.

Thank you to all who serve/d this country.

Thank you, Veterans!

Thank you to those who served, and to those who serve. Happy Veterans Day. We remember your sacrifice, and the sacrifices of those who gave their lives.

Veterans Day is very special. There are several of us CTN"ers that had and have fathers who were career military. My dad was in the Navy 33 1/2 hears. Bud was in the Navy when I met and married him. DukePA was in the Navy and Dawn (Max's mom) was Army National Guard (she was in the Desert Watch and Desert Storm war). Many other family members who served.

God bless our veteran who served and God bless our military personal. :ymhug:

We took my dad out to dinner last night to celebrate "his day". He told me not to forget the families of the vets, since they have to live through all the waiting and worrying. He said he always thought it was probably harder on us than it was on him. So, thank your vets, and thank their families, too. They sacrifice as much as the vets themselves. Don't forget that. :D
