CTN and daylight savings time

Ozzie posted about this in the Good Morning thread, and I'm sure he's not the only one to notice it. In your control panel, under board preferences, there is a setting to turn on or off DST. Uncheck it and your time will be correct.

I've done better than that!

I'm going slightly off topic with this post, but am I the only one who hates the days DST stops and starts? The wife sent me on an easy task this morning, go to the store and buy some bacon to cook for the Grandson's breakfast. Of course, I'm standing at the door of the super market at 0720 wondering why it is 20 minutes past time to open but the store is still closed. Hmmm...this is a real puzzle...ah, and then the light bulb in my dimwit brain goes off...DST ended at 2 am. Luckily, there is a 24 hour Walmart super store a few minutes down the road.

I'm not a fan. I also think it's weird that not all of the country uses it, Nevada doesn't.

I don't believe Indiana or Arizona do either. I used to hate the day it ended, but it's been pitch dark here at 7AM lately, so I'll be glad for the extra light in the morning.

My bad..I was thinking Nevada but it's Arizona. They have a big clock on Hoover dam for that reason.

And here I thought this was the place where time stood still.

If you read the LTE from front to back straight through, it will.

I wonder how long it would take to read the entire LTE? Any volunteers?

You win. Give us a summary when you're done.

You want a summary?
Lots of people said lots of stuff and there were occasional pushes to reach posting milestones.
Now you have to go read it to ensure my summary was accurate ;)

No time changes for Hawaii, thank you. They're so far south that it wouldn't matter anyway.

Good enough for me.
