Low of 42 Friday night and high of 68 for game day with partly cloudy skies. Let's see how THAT forecast holds up. Yesterday's forecast for the week or so preceding the game was low of 34, high of 55 and not a cloud in the sky. We see how that one turned out. Well, ultimately, it was pretty nice as I took off my sweatshirt and watched most of the 2nd half in jeans with a t-shirt on under a Duke blue mock t-neck. I think I even got a little sunburn on the right side of my face :ymblushing: .

I am a little confused, so please provide me with wisdom oh mighty CTN'ers!
I understand that "tailgate" for the BC game is cancelled. However that is a certain student-run activity prior to games and should not be confused with "Tailgating".
So ummm, what is this Tailgate program and how/why is it different than tailgating other than the obvious (Student activity versus Duke Fans/alumn activity)?????
And we're still on for Saturday, right? I think 'ol K68 will finally get to make an appearance, and if folks are good, he may bring a few treats too! lol

We'll all be there on Saturday morning, K68, and we're glad to hear that you'll be joining us! We were so glad to see Tilly last Saturday and hope she'll be joining you/us again this Saturday too. And a few of the students who aren't going to the student tailgate that won't be held somewhere else will/may be joining us too! Don't be confused, just show up! B-) :9f:

The women play that evening at 7PM. Does anyone know if they will run us off earlier to make room for basketball parking? We usually don't get out of the lot until 5:30 or 6 for a noon game.

That all depends on how many undergraduates you can persuade to stay after the football game at the tent before accompanying them to the women's basketball game. In other words, ask Larry Moneta.

I doubt that the crowd for the women's game will be a problem. If anyone wants to go to he women's game, I would think we could probably get in for free just by asking.

Not sure about that. We usually paid about $5/ticket when we went several times 2 years ago when Claire was cheering.

Anybody whom has extra tickets, and can have them at the TG, should bring them. Everyone should invite some friends to fill those seats. I know that's my plan.

Should be a good one. BC is a team we can out-score and, we're probably in better shape. Duke by 3.

Oh BTW, I'm sure most of you heard: Women's game tix are $2 for IDs/tailgaters.
