True Brunchgate #3 - BC Nov. 13th Menu and Attendance

Never too soon to start the new thread! Bring on BC. It's another noon start. TNT said he'll plan a true breakfast menu on Saturday. Plan on getting there around 9 - he and CB&B will be there hours earlier setting up so you won't have to! ;) Plan on staying late - no rush to get home and sit in traffic. Relax and enjoy the afterglow of victory #4!

I'll be there about 9. Not sure yet what I'll bring. TNT - bring those eggs I left in your cooler if they don't get used at home this week.

I'll be there with Stephanie, don't know if my dad will be there yet. Not sure what we're making yet, but I do know that we are cooking breakfast this time.

Yay for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

Random thought: How about if everyone brings a contribution for subs/heroes/hoagies/po' boys/grinders or whatever y'ins call them from your geographic area of origin?

Sounds good to me. How about a "ballpark" figure?

It would be nice to see our chefs not to have so much to do. :happy-bouncyblue:

I have the suggestion out there. Let's see what the rest of the folks think. We could make breakfast hoagies/sammies with eggs, bacon and sausage and then real sammies/hoagies/etc for lunch with cold cuts, lettuce, tomato, pickle slices, banananana peppers, cheeses, onions, oil and vinegar. Some folks could even put mayo on their subs and ruin them ;) .

It would still be nice to have a hot (bacon and eggs) breakfast and then the sammy's for after the game!

I believe we could live for that as we have an a cappella concert in Derm that night and would happy to sip and sup and then just go to the concert and not have to drive all the way back to Raleigh.

That works for me. For my breakfast contribution I will be preparing grilled stuffed tomatoes (stuffing yet to be determined). We have the bacon that VDB brought this weekend as well as Ozzie's eggs. I also have a three pound log of ground sausage that I'm dying to get out of my freezer (it was a Christmas present to my wife from her boss..who the hell gives sausage as part of a xmas bonus?) so it will be coming with me. Stephanie will be there, Dad won't be.

I will be there! And I'll be bringing one sophomore who I just met through DBR. Pretty cool! :D He wants to be involved with Duke Football and not be associated with "Tailgate"/Main Quad Throwdown.

It's quite possible that I'll end up bringing two to three others, I'll let you all know! I wish I could contribute food-wise. And I could. If you guys like easy mac and microwavable popcorn. =)) =)) =)) :duke:

Christian and I will come early for the Brunchgate and Blue Devil walk. Then we'll leave to pick up Mom at RDU. We'll bring her back to the game, hopefully in time to catch the 2d, 3d and 4th quarters.

I'll bring a pecan pie and some tea.

You can welcome her in person after the game.
