"Sandwich" is a funny word.

Post by EarlJam » September 16th, 2010, 6:03 pm

I don't know the exact point that it happened, but somewhere along the way the word "Sandwich" became very funny to me. I simply cannot say it or use it in a sentence seriously. Especially alone. If it is preceeded by adjectives, then it's not as (but still) funny. "Would you like a ham sandwich?"

But to use it without adjectives is, to me, just funny as hell.

"Man, I really want a sandwich."

Just sayin.

You should meet with the Earl of Sandwich and discuss this.

Good thing the Sandwich Islands are now known as the Hawaiian Islands.
